Program for Tuesday, October 6th: Legislative Environmental Issues

This will be an informational meeting in a community gathering setting to discuss environmental priorities for Audubon Minnesota for the upcoming legislative session. Possible issues will be briefly described and then discussed in small group settings. This will allow chapter members to better understand the issues so they can vote on the ballot which will be available to all Audubon members in Minnesota.

Minneapolis area representatives in the State Legislature will be invited to sit in on the discussions to hear our concerns on these issues. Please come, and invite friends who are concerned about birds and the environment.

Programs begin at 7:00 PM and are open to the public. Programs are held on the first Tuesday of the month September through May.

Next program:
November 3, 2009

Programs are at the Mayflower Church which is located at:

109 East Diamond Lake Road

… just west of 35W on Diamond Lake Road.
Enter through the main entrance and go downstairs to the big room.
