“Language of Birds,” Jonathon Poppele
Jonathon Poppele is an educator, author and naturalist.
He is Minnesota coordinator for the Bird Language Leaders
program with the National Audubon Society, and founder of the
Minnesota Wildlife Tracking Project.
“Birds are the alarm system of the forest, broadcasting the
whereabouts of hawks, owls, foxes and more through their calls
and postures. Learning bird language is not only fun, it allows us to
understand them, see more wildlife, and feel more connected to the natural world.”
